Olivier Henchiri Having won prizes at major competitions in the US and Canada, Olivier is known for the smoothness of his dancing. He's known for being one of those "yummy leads," and his creativity and style make him impossible to miss on the dance floor. Olivier's strong connection to the music is solidified by his strong musical training as a cellist, giving him a rare talent for personal expression. Olivier was was literally this year's poster guy for the Montreal blues exchange, From Montreal With Love. Read more.
Byron Alley A popular competitor and well-known blues dancer, Byron was last year's the poster guy for the Montreal blues exchange, From Montreal With Love. Read more.
Bryn Morin Known by fans here and across the border as "the girl with the hips," this vintage blues fanatic has wowed students with blues classes in four cities in Canada and the US. Read more.
Natalia Rueda Natalia's style and pizzazz make her impossible to miss on a dance floor. Choreographer for several teams and blues dancing medalist at the Canadian Swing Championships, Natalia's known for her hot blues dancing. Read more.
Maria Ford (Ottawa, ON) — Maria has danced since she could walk. She trained in contemporary jazz, tap and ballet for 13 years, as well as gymnastics and synchronized swimming. She holds 17 provincial dance competition medals, including gold and silver places for solo jazz work. Recently Maria has been adding WCS medals to her list, and together with her partner André she's been enjoying travelling to WCS competitions to compete and dance.
André Danis (Ottawa, ON) — In his 40s, André decided he wanted to "discover his inner rhythm": thats when he started dancing West Coast Swing, and André quickly made up for lost time to become a strong and creative West Coast Swing leader. He brings exceptional musicality, a flair for choreography, and martial arts training to his dancing. Maria and André teach group lessons in their private studio and other Ottawa locations.

André is also an experienced DJ, and we'll hear him spin at Saturday Night Swing!
